Sell

Busy parents don’t have time to sell item by item – and that’s where we come in. The process is simple – follow the steps below to prepare your kids’ gently used clothing, toys, and gear, then drop it off with us, and we’ll take care of the rest. Our seasonal pop-ups attract shoppers who are ready to buy, making it an easy way to clear space and earn cash. Selling with us is easy, convenient, and stress-free. Turn that clutter into cash!

  • Sellers will earn 65% of the selling price.
  • A $10 registration fee will be deducted from your total earnings at the end of the sale. 
  • Sellers will receive 2 passes to shop at the Consigner Presale, allowing you and a guest to shop before the sale is open to the public.
  • Sellers tag and drop off their items at the sale and pick up (or donate) unsold items at the end of the sale.

How to be a Seller:

  • Register for the upcoming sale. 
  • Enter the items you wish to sell and print the generated tags.
  • Prepare and tag your items.
  • Bring your items to the sale at your scheduled appointment time.
  • Pick up unsold items (or donate) at the end of the sale.
  • Receive your check and enjoy your clean closets and playroom.

Sunday’s sale offers items at 50% off. If you would like your items to be discounted for the 50% off sale, simply click the “discount” button when entering your items.

If you would like to donate your unsold items to one of our charities, choose the “donate” option. No need to come get your items! They will be given to charities to help local families.

Preparing Your Items

Set yourself up for a successful sale! Follow these simple steps to make sure your items are easy to shop and quick to sell.

Clothing

  • Clothing is clean, free of stains, or excessive wear. No holes or tears. Inspect items for missing buttons, broken zippers, or other damage. Items that look clean and well cared for always sell best.
  • Clothing is season-appropriate (no winter gear at a Spring sale).

  • Shoes are clean, without a lot of wear on the soles.
  • Secure shoes together with zip tie, rubber band, or a large clear plastic bag.

  • Toys should be clean, in good working order, and have batteries if needed.
  • Games and puzzles need to include all pieces. Wrap puzzles in plastic wrap to secure the pieces.
  • Use painter’s tape to attach tag to books to avoid damage.

  • Small items such as hair bows, socks, bibs, etc. should be placed in clear bags with tag attached to outside.

  • Strollers, cribs, high chairs, bouncy seats, etc., should be clean, in good condition, fully assembled, and not recalled – check before listing.

  • Clothing: clean, in-season clothing, size preemie - teen
  • In-season maternity and women’s clothing
  • Shoes: newborn – women
  • Nursing clothing and accessories
  • Breast pumps (no used parts/pieces; only pumps and new in package parts)
  • Toys, books, games, puzzles
  • Strollers, bouncy seats, baby carriers, swings, walkers, play mats, etc.
  • Cribs, high chairs, play pens, etc.
  • Rocking chairs, nursery décor, etc.
  • Bikes, wagons, water tables, ride-on toys, etc.
  • Sporting gear
  • Art supplies and craft kits
  • Infant and kids bedding, sleep sacks, blankets, etc.
  • Bathing/Toileting items: bath tubs, potty chairs, bath toys, diapering supplies
  • Feeding items: bottles, dinnerware, etc.
  • If your child used it, we probably accept it, as long as it meets our guidelines!

Accepted Items

  1. You must use the tags generated through our system. No other tags will be accepted.
  2. Attach the tag to your item securely using a tagging gun or safety pins. Attach the tag to the manufacturer’s original tag, or to a seam. 
  3. Creating a hole in the clothing with a safety pin makes your item less desirable.
  4. Hang all clothing on coat hangers. The hanger should face left like a question mark (?).
  5. Pants and shorts should be hung by safety pins on the hanger.

Shoppers love a good deal! Thoughtful, competitive pricing helps items move faster and increases your overall success.


  • Price your items 25 – 40% of retail, depending on brand and quality.
  • Like-new / new items can be priced closer to 50% of retail.
  • Try to take the emotion out when selecting a price.
  • Think about what you would be willing to pay for an item.

  • Log in to your account to select a check-in time that is convenient for you.
  • Bring your prepared items (clean, complete, in season, on hangers)
  • Check in with a volunteer, sign the consigner agreement, and hang up your clothes.
  • Assemble any items as necessary.
  • After items are checked in, receive your presale pass!
